आत्मा पुत्रश्च विज्ञेयस्तस्यानन्तरजश्च य:।
निरुक्तजश्च विज्ञेय: सुत: प्रसृतजस्तथा॥ ३॥ | | | | | | अनुवाद | | भीष्म बोले - जहाँ पति-पत्नी के मिलन में किसी तीसरे का हस्तक्षेप न हो, अर्थात् पति के वीर्य से जो पुत्र उत्पन्न हो, उस 'अनंतराज' अर्थात् 'औरस' पुत्र को अपनी आत्मा समझना चाहिए। दूसरा पुत्र 'निरुक्तज' है। तीसरा 'प्रसृतज' है (निरुक्तज और प्रसृतज दो प्रकार के क्षेत्रज हैं)। 3॥ | | | | Bhishma said - Where there is no interference from any third person in the union of husband and wife, that is, the son who is born from the husband's semen, that 'Anantraj' i.e. 'Auras' son should be considered as his own soul.
