‘ब्राह्मण हवन के द्वारा आहवनीय अग्नि में स्थित देवताओं को तृप्त करके परम सौभाग्यशाली पद प्राप्त करते हैं। ब्रह्मज्ञान से युक्त होकर वे उत्तम पुरुष बनकर बालकों से भी पहले भोजन करने का अधिकार प्राप्त करते हैं।॥9॥
‘Brahmins, by satisfying the deities present in the Ahaavaniya fire with the help of havans, attain a very fortunate position. By becoming a good person with the knowledge of Brahman, they get the right to eat food before even children.॥ 9॥
