इस संदर्भ में पुराणवेत्ता पहले गाई गई कुछ कथाओं का वर्णन करते हैं। प्रजापति ने ब्राह्मण, क्षत्रिय और वैश्यों को पूर्ववत् उत्पन्न किया और उन्हें समझाया, 'स्वधर्म का पालन करने और ब्राह्मणों की सेवा के अतिरिक्त तुम्हारा और कोई कर्तव्य नहीं है। यदि ब्राह्मण की रक्षा की जाती है, तो वह स्वयं अपने रक्षक की रक्षा करता है; अतः ब्राह्मण की सेवा करके तुम परम कल्याण को प्राप्त होगे॥ 4-5॥
In this context, the Puranas experts describe some of the stories sung earlier. Prajapati created the Brahmins, Kshatriyas and Vaishyas as before and explained to them, 'You have no other duty except following your own Dharma and serving the Brahmins. If a Brahmin is protected, he himself protects his protector; hence, by serving the Brahmin, you will attain the ultimate welfare.॥ 4-5॥
