माधव! देखो ब्राह्मणों का प्रभाव कैसा है, उन्होंने चन्द्रमा पर कलंक लगा दिया, समुद्र का जल खारा कर दिया और देवराज इन्द्र के शरीर पर एक हजार भग चिन्ह बना दिए और फिर उसी प्रभाव से भग नेत्र में परिवर्तित हो गया; जिससे शतक्रतु इन्द्र 'सहस्राक्ष' नाम से प्रसिद्ध हुए।
