श्रोत्रियान् ब्राह्मणान् वृद्धान् नित्यमेवाभिपूजयेत्॥ ३॥
पौरजानपदांश्चापि ब्राह्मणांश्च बहुश्रुतान्।
सान्त्वेन भोगदानेन नमस्कारैस्तथार्चयेत्॥ ४॥ |

| राजा को चाहिए कि वह वेदों के ज्ञाता ब्राह्मणों तथा वृद्धजनों का सदैव आदर करे। नगर तथा जनपद में निवास करने वाले विद्वान ब्राह्मणों से मधुर वाणी बोलकर, उन्हें उत्तम भोजन कराकर तथा आदरपूर्वक सिर झुकाकर उनका आदर करे। |
