प्रज्ञाश्रुताभ्यां वृत्तेन शीलेन च समन्वित:।
तारयेत कुलं सर्वमेकोऽपीह द्विजर्षभ:॥ ३८॥
अनुवाद
यदि उत्तम बुद्धि, शास्त्रज्ञान, सदाचार और विनय आदि सद्गुणों से युक्त श्रेष्ठ ब्राह्मण भी दान स्वीकार कर ले, तो वह दान देने वाले के सम्पूर्ण कुल का उद्धार कर देता है ॥38॥
If even a great Brahmin, endowed with good qualities like good intelligence, knowledge of scriptures, good conduct and politeness etc., accepts the donation, then he saves the entire family of the donor. 38॥
