| ऋषिगण उस श्रेष्ठ ब्राह्मण को दान का सर्वश्रेष्ठ पात्र मानते हैं जो चारों वेदों का उनके अंगों सहित अध्ययन करता है तथा ब्राह्मण के योग्य छः कर्मों (अध्ययन-अध्यापन, यज्ञ-यज्ञ तथा दान-दक्षिणा ग्रहण करना) में संलग्न रहता है। |
