श्रद्धया परया पूतो य: प्रयच्छेद् द्विजातये।
हव्यं कव्यं तथा दानं को दोष: स्यात् पितामह॥ ३॥ |

| युधिष्ठिर ने पूछा, 'पितामह! जो मनुष्य केवल अपनी उत्तम श्रद्धा से ही पवित्र है और ब्राह्मण को हवि आदि देता है, उसे अन्य किसी प्रकार की पवित्रता के अभाव से कौन-सा पाप लगता है?' |
