अनुज्ञातो भगवता गृहं गत्वा युधिष्ठिर॥ ५६॥
अपश्यं पितरं तात इष्टिं कृत्वा विनि:सृतम्।
उपस्पृश्य गृहीत्वेध्मं कुशांश्च शरणाकुरून्॥ ५७॥ |

| हे युधिष्ठिर! भगवान शिव की आज्ञा से मैं घर गया और वहाँ यज्ञ सम्पन्न करके मैंने अपने पिता को यज्ञशाला से बाहर आते देखा। उस समय वे हवन सामग्री जैसे लकड़ी, कुशा और वृक्षों से गिरे हुए पके फल आदि ले जा रहे थे। |

| O dear Yudhishthira! By the order of Lord Shiva, I went back home and after performing the yajna there, I saw my father coming out of the yajnashaala. At that time he was carrying sacrificial offerings like firewood, kusha grass and ripe fruits that had fallen from the trees by themselves. 56-57. |
