देवताओं की रक्षा और उनकी सहायता में सदैव तत्पर रहने वाले भगवान वासुदेव ब्रह्मस्वरूप हैं। वे ब्रह्मर्षियों को सदैव आश्रय देने वाले हैं। ब्रह्माजी उनके शरीर में अर्थात् उनके गर्भ में अत्यंत सुखपूर्वक निवास करते हैं। मैं, जो सदैव प्रसन्न रहता हूँ, शिव भी उनके स्वरूप में सुखपूर्वक निवास करता हूँ॥12-13॥
Lord Vasudeva, who is always engaged in protecting the gods and helping them, is the embodiment of Brahma. He is the one who always gives shelter to the brahmarshis. Brahmaji lives very happily within his body, i.e. in his womb. I, Shiva, who is always happy, also live happily within his form.॥12-13॥
