पतिर्ब्रूयाद् दरिद्रो वा व्याधितो वा कथंचन॥ ५७॥
आपन्नो रिपुसंस्थो वा ब्रह्मशापार्दितोऽपि वा।
आपद्धर्माननुप्रेक्ष्य तत्कार्यमविशङ्कया॥ ५८॥ | | | | | | अनुवाद | | यदि पति दरिद्र हो जाए, किसी रोग से पीड़ित हो जाए, किसी विपत्ति में फंस जाए, शत्रुओं के बीच में फंस जाए अथवा ब्राह्मण के शाप से पीड़ित हो और ऐसी स्थिति में वह कोई अवांछनीय कार्य, अधार्मिक कार्य अथवा मृत्यु का भी आदेश दे, तो उसे आपत्तिकाल का कर्तव्य समझकर बिना किसी संदेह के तुरन्त कर देना चाहिए ॥57-58॥ | | | | If the husband becomes poor, is afflicted with some disease, gets entangled in some calamity, gets caught in the midst of enemies or is suffering due to the curse of a Brahmin, and in such a situation he orders an undesirable act, an irreligious act or even death, then it should be considered as the duty of the time of emergency and should be carried out immediately without any doubt. ॥57-58॥ | | ✨ ai-generated | | |
