मातापितृपरा नित्यं या नारी सा तपोधना॥ ५१॥
ब्राह्मणान् दुर्बलानाथान् दीनान्धकृपणांस्तथा।
बिभर्त्यन्नेन या नारी सा पतिव्रतभागिनी॥ ५२॥ | | | | | | अनुवाद | | जो स्त्री उत्तम गुणों से युक्त है और सदैव अपने सास-ससुर के चरणों की सेवा में तत्पर रहती है तथा माता-पिता के प्रति भी सदैव अनन्य भक्ति रखती है, वह तपस्या के धन से संपन्न मानी जाती है। जो स्त्री ब्राह्मणों, दुर्बलों, अनाथों, दरिद्रों, अंधे और कंजूसों को भोजन कराती है, उसे पतिव्रता धर्म का पालन करने का फल मिलता है। ॥51-52॥ | | | | A woman who is endowed with good qualities and always remains engaged in serving the feet of her in-laws and father-in-law and also always has great devotion towards her parents is considered to be rich in the wealth of austerity.
