वेदों का यह ज्ञान हमें सिखाता है कि क्या उचित है और क्या अनुचित, क्या उचित है और क्या अनुचित। यदि संसार में सदाचार सिखाने वाली श्रुति (शास्त्र) न होतीं, तो मनुष्य भी पशुओं के समान मनमाना आचरण करने लगते।
This knowledge of Vedas teaches what is right and what is wrong, what is right and what is wrong. If there were no Shruti (scriptures) in the world to teach good conduct, then humans would also start behaving arbitrarily like animals.
