भगवान महेश्वर कहते हैं - राजा अपनी सहायता के लिए लोगों को नाना प्रकार के अन्न, वस्त्र और आभूषण देकर बुलाता और रखता है, उनके साथ भोजन करके उनसे घनिष्ठ संबंध स्थापित करता है तथा नाना प्रकार के आतिथ्य से उन्हें संतुष्ट करता है; ऐसे योद्धाओं को युद्ध छिड़ने पर सहायता के समय राजा के लिए शस्त्र उठाना उचित है।
Lord Maheshwar says - The king calls and keeps people for his help by giving them various kinds of food, clothes and ornaments, establishes close relations with them by eating with them and satisfies them with various types of hospitality; it is appropriate for such warriors to take up arms for the king at the time of help when a war breaks out.
