अब धर्म का यह दूसरा रहस्य सुनो। जो मनुष्य पूर्णिमा के दिन चन्द्रोदय के समय ताँबे के पात्र में मधुमिश्रित पकवान से चन्द्रमा को अर्घ्य देता है, उसे जो नित्य धर्म का फल प्राप्त होता है, उसे भक्तिपूर्वक सुनो। उस मनुष्य द्वारा दिए गए अर्घ्य को साध्य, रुद्र, आदित्य, विश्वेदेव, अश्विनीकुमार, मरुद्गण और वसुदेव भी स्वीकार करते हैं तथा उससे चन्द्रमा और समुद्र की वृद्धि होती है। इस प्रकार मैंने रहस्यों सहित सुखदायी धर्म का वर्णन किया है। 3-7॥
Now listen to this second secret of religion. One who offers a sacrifice to the Moon with a dish mixed with honey in a copper vessel at the time of moonrise on the full moon day, listen with devotion to the daily fruit of Dharma that he receives. Sadhya, Rudra, Aditya, Vishvedev, Ashwini Kumar, Marudgan and Vasudeva also accept the sacrifice given by that man and the moon and the ocean increase due to it. In this way I have described the pleasant religion with its secrets. 3-7॥
