In whose house the fire of Agnihotra is always burning day and night, the skin of a small tiger, its fangs and a mountain tortoise are present, fragrant smoke keeps emanating from the offering of ghee, a cat and a black or yellow goat are present, the houses of those householders in whose houses all these things are present, those ferocious carnivorous nocturnal animals do not attack them. ॥9-11॥
