श्रूयते न च मां हन्यादिति ह्यस्मादपक्रमे।
श्वसतां च शृणोम्येनं गोपुत्राणां प्रतोद्यताम्॥ ११॥
वहतां सुमहाभारं संनिकर्षे स्वनं प्रभो।
नृणां च संवाहयतां श्रूयते विविध: स्वन:॥ १२॥ |

| यह आवाज़ सुनकर मुझे डर लगता है कि कहीं गाड़ी मुझे कुचल न दे। इसलिए मैं यहाँ से जल्दी से जल्दी भाग रहा हूँ। देखो, बैलों को कोड़े मारे जा रहे हैं और वे भारी बोझ उठाए हाँफते हुए आ रहे हैं। हे प्रभु! मैं उनकी आवाज़ें बहुत पास से सुन सकता हूँ। गाड़ी पर बैठे लोगों की तरह-तरह की आवाज़ें भी सुन सकता हूँ। 11-12. |
