मां स भक्षयते यस्माद् भक्षयिष्ये तमप्यहम्।
एतन्मांसस्य मांसत्वमनुबुद्ध्यस्व भारत॥ २५॥ |

| हे भरतनन्दन! (जिसे मारा जाता है, वह जीव कहता है—) ‘मां स भक्षयते यस्माद् भक्षयिष्ये तम्प्याहम्।’ अर्थात् ‘आज वह मुझे खाता है और किसी दिन मैं भी उसे खाऊँगा।’ यह मांस का मांसलपन है—इसे ही मांस शब्द का अर्थ समझो। 25॥ |
