| ऐसा सुना गया है कि पूर्वकाल में मनुष्य यज्ञों में अभक्ष्य पशुओं को ही पुरोडाश आदि के रूप में प्रयुक्त किया जाता था। पुण्यलोक प्राप्ति के साधन में लगे हुए यज्ञपुरुष उसी अन्न से यज्ञ करते थे। 49॥ |
