अतः जो बुद्धिमान और धर्मात्मा हैं, उन्हें सभी प्राणियों को समान समझना चाहिए। जब अपना कल्याण चाहने वाले विद्वान् लोग भी मृत्यु से डरते हैं, तो फिर मांसाहार पर निर्भर रहने वाले पापी मनुष्यों द्वारा बलपूर्वक मारे जाने वाले स्वस्थ और निर्दोष प्राणी, जो जीवित रहना चाहते हैं, क्यों न डरें?
Therefore, those who are wise and pious should consider all beings as their equals. When even learned people who wish for their own welfare are afraid of death, then why should not healthy and innocent beings who wish to live and are killed forcefully by sinful men who make their living on meat, be afraid?
