पूर्वदेहे यथा वृत्तं तन्निबोध द्विजोत्तम।
जातिं स्मराम्यहं ब्रह्मन्नवधानेन मे शृणु॥ ५४॥ |

| हे ब्राह्मणश्रेष्ठ! जब हम पूर्वजन्म में उत्पन्न हुए थे, उस समय जो घटना घटी थी, उसे सुनो। हे ब्रह्मन्! मुझे पूर्वजन्म की बातें स्मरण हैं। कृपया मेरी बात ध्यानपूर्वक सुनो। ॥54॥ |
