इन दोनों पक्षों में से जो भी ब्राह्मण का अनादर करता है, वह अनादि काल से चली आ रही परम्परा का उल्लंघन करता है। यदि कोई नीच योद्धा अपने को क्षत्रिय कहकर उस परम्परा का उल्लंघन करता है, तो उसे तब से क्षत्रिय जाति में नहीं गिना जाना चाहिए और उसे क्षत्रियों की सभा में स्थान नहीं दिया जाना चाहिए।॥9 1/2॥
Whichever of these two sides disrespects a Brahmin, he breaks the tradition which has been followed since time immemorial. If a lowly warrior calling himself a Kshatriya violates that tradition, then from then on he should not be counted among the Kshatriya caste and he should not be given a place in the assembly of Kshatriyas.॥9 1/2॥
