प्रदानं सामपूर्वं च भेदमूलं प्रशस्यते॥ | | | | | | अनुवाद | | जिस स्थान पर शत्रु की सेना अधिक प्रबल हो, वहाँ पहले सैन्य रणनीति अपनाना उचित है। यदि उससे काम न चले, तो धन या उपहार देने की नीति अपनानी चाहिए। यदि दान की इस नीति में फूट डालने की नीति भी सम्मिलित हो, अर्थात् शत्रुओं में फूट डालने का प्रयास किया जाए, तो वह अच्छा माना जाता है। | | | | At a place where the enemy's army is stronger, it is appropriate to use military strategy first.
