चातुर्वर्ण्ये स्वकर्मस्थे मर्यादानामसंकरे।
दण्डनीतिकृते क्षेमे प्रजानामकुतोभये॥ ७७॥
स्वाम्ये प्रयत्नं कुर्वन्ति त्रयो वर्णा यथाविधि।
तस्मादेव मनुष्याणां सुखं विद्धि समाहितम्॥ ७८॥ |

| इस प्रकार जब चारों वर्णों के लोग दण्डनीति के प्रभाव से अपने-अपने कर्मों में लगे रहते हैं, धर्म-संहिता में संकीर्णता नहीं रहती और लोग निर्भय होकर सुखपूर्वक रहने लगते हैं, तब तीनों वर्णों के लोग व्यवस्थित रूप से अपने स्वास्थ्य की रक्षा करने का प्रयत्न करते हैं। युधिष्ठिर! तुम्हें यह जानना चाहिए कि मनुष्यों का सुख इसी में है। 77-78। |
