तत्पश्चात् कौरवों में श्रेष्ठ युधिष्ठिर ने दुःखी मन से, नेत्रों में आँसू भरकर, भीष्मजी के चरणों का स्पर्श करके धीरे से कहा - 'पितामह! इस समय भगवान सूर्य अपनी किरणों से पृथ्वी का रस चूसकर पश्चिम दिशा में जा रहे हैं; अतः मैं कल आपसे अपना संदेह पूछूँगा।'
Thereafter, Yudhishthira, the best of the Kurus, being sad in heart, with tears in his eyes, gently touched the feet of Bhishmaji and said - 'Grandfather! At this time, Lord Sun is going to the west after sucking the earth's juice with his rays; therefore, I will ask you my doubt tomorrow.'
