व्यसनानि च सर्वाणि त्यजेथा भूरिदक्षिण।
न चैव न प्रयुञ्जीत सङ्गं तु परिवर्जयेत्॥ ४२॥ |

| हे प्रचुर दक्षिणा देने वाले नरेश्वर! आपको सब प्रकार के व्यसनों का त्याग कर देना चाहिए; परन्तु ऐसा नहीं है कि साहस आदि का पूर्ण उपयोग न किया जाए (क्योंकि शत्रु आदि पर विजय पाने के लिए उसकी आवश्यकता होती है); अतः सब प्रकार के व्यसनों की आसक्ति का त्याग कर देना चाहिए॥42॥ |
