जो ब्राह्मण वेद-शास्त्रों के ज्ञान से रहित होने पर भी दूसरों में दोष नहीं देखता और संतुष्ट रहता है, उसे दयापूर्वक दान देना चाहिए, तथा व्रत से रहित दीन-दुखियों को भी दान देना चाहिए॥ 43॥
'A Brahmin who, despite being devoid of the knowledge of Vedas and scriptures, does not find faults in others and remains satisfied, should be compassionately given alms as well as to the poor and downtrodden who are devoid of vows.॥ 43॥
