जातिश्रेण्यधिवासानां कुलधर्मांश्च सर्वत:।
वर्जयन्ति च ये धर्मं तेषां धर्मो न विद्यते॥ १९॥
अनुवाद
परंतु जो लोग अपनी जाति, आश्रम और कुल के धर्म को सर्वथा त्याग देते हैं तथा जो सम्पूर्ण धर्म को त्याग देते हैं, उनके लिए कोई धर्म (प्रायश्चित) नहीं है। अर्थात् वे किसी भी प्रायश्चित से शुद्ध नहीं हो सकते।॥19॥
‘But for those who completely abandon the religion of their caste, ashram and clan and those who abandon the whole religion, there is no Dharma (atonement) for them. That is, they cannot be purified by any atonement.॥ 19॥
