प्राप्ते चाह्निककाले तु मध्यदेशगते रवौ।
दंष्ट्राविलग्नांस्त्रीन् पिण्डान् विधाय सहसा प्रभु:॥ १४॥
स्थापयामास वै पृथ्व्यां कुशानास्तीर्य नारद।
स तेष्वात्मानमुद्दिश्य पित्र्यं चक्रे यथाविधि॥ १५॥ |

| अनुवाद |
| जब सूर्य मध्याह्न में पहुँच गया और नित्यकर्म का समय आया, तब भगवान ने अचानक अपनी दाढ़ी में मिट्टी के तीन ढेले चिपका लिए। हे नारद! फिर उन्होंने पृथ्वी पर कुशा बिछाकर उन ढेलों को उन कुशाओं पर रख दिया। इसके बाद उन्होंने अपने प्रयोजन के लिए उन ढेलों पर विधिपूर्वक पितृपूजन का अनुष्ठान किया।॥14-15॥ |

| When the sun reached the middle of the day and the time for daily rituals arrived, the Lord suddenly made three lumps of mud stuck to his beard. O Narada! Then he spread kusha grass on the earth and placed those lumps on those kusha grass. After this, for his own purpose, he performed the ritual of Pitra Pujan on those lumps in a proper manner.॥ 14-15॥ |
