कथं प्रवृत्तिधर्मेषु भागार्हा देवता: कृता:।
कथं निवृत्तिधर्माश्च कृता व्यावृत्तबुद्धय:॥ ३॥
अनुवाद
इस प्रकार निवृत्तिधर्म के अधीन होते हुए भी उन्होंने देवताओं को प्रवृत्तिधर्म में अर्थात् यज्ञानुष्ठान में भाग लेने का अधिकार क्यों दिया? तथा ऋषि-मुनि विषयों से विरक्त होकर निवृत्तिधर्म में क्यों तत्पर हो गए?॥3॥
In this way, despite being dependent on nivrittridharma, why did he give the gods the right to participate in pravrittidharma, i.e. in yagya rituals? And why did the sages and sages become detached from subjects and devoted to nivritthi dharma?॥ 3॥
