न दृश्यश्चक्षुषा योऽसौ न स्पृश्य: स्पर्शनेन च।
न घ्रेयश्चैव गन्धेन रसेन च विवर्जित:॥ २१॥
सत्त्वं रजस्तमश्चैव न गुणास्तं भजन्ति वै।
यश्च सर्वगत: साक्षी लोकस्यात्मेति कथ्यते॥ २२॥
भूतग्रामशरीरेषु नश्यत्सु न विनश्यति।
अजो नित्य: शाश्वतश्च निर्गुणोनिष्कलस्तथा॥ २३॥
द्विर्द्वादशेभ्यस्तत्त्वेभ्य: ख्यातो य: पञ्चविंशक:।
पुरुषो निष्क्रियश्चैव ज्ञानदृश्यश्च कथ्यते॥ २४॥
यं प्रविश्य भवन्तीह मुक्ता वै द्विजसत्तमा:।
स वासुदेवो विज्ञेय: परमात्मा सनातन:॥ २५॥

जिसे नेत्रों से नहीं देखा जा सकता, त्वचा से जिसका स्पर्श नहीं किया जा सकता, घ्राणेन्द्रिय से जिसे सूंघा नहीं जा सकता, जो रसनाेन्द्रिय की पहुँच से परे है; सत्व, रज और तम नामक गुण उस पर कोई प्रभाव नहीं डाल सकते, जिसे सर्वव्यापी, साक्षी और सम्पूर्ण जगत् का आत्मा कहा गया है, जो समस्त प्राणियों के नष्ट हो जाने पर भी स्वयं नष्ट नहीं होता, जिसे अजन्मा, अनादि, नित्य, निर्गुण और निर्विकार बताया गया है, जो चौबीस तत्वों से परे पच्चीसवाँ तत्व प्रसिद्ध है, जिसे अन्तर्यामी पुरुष कहा गया है, जो निष्क्रिय और केवल ज्ञानमय नेत्रों से दिखाई देने वाला है, जिसमें प्रवेश करके श्रेष्ठ द्विज भी प्राप्त कर सकते हैं। यहीं हम मुक्त हो जाते हैं, वही सनातन परमेश्वर है। उसे वासुदेव नाम से जानना चाहिए। 21-25॥
