वहाँ महाबली रुद्रदेव कनेर के पुष्पों की सुन्दर माला धारण किए हुए चाँदनी में चन्द्रमा के समान शोभायमान हो रहे थे। देवताओं और देवियों से परिपूर्ण उस दिव्य सुन्दर वन में मुनिवर व्यास पुत्र-प्राप्ति के लिए परम योग का आश्रय लेकर तपस्या में तत्पर थे और उससे विचलित नहीं हुए। 20-21॥
