उन्होंने आदरपूर्वक ऋषि की परिक्रमा की और उन्हें विदा किया। ऋषि याज्ञवल्क्य के चले जाने पर मोक्ष को जानने वाले देवरात के पुत्र राजा जनक ने वहीं बैठकर एक करोड़ गौओं का स्पर्श करके उन्हें ब्राह्मणों को दान कर दिया और प्रत्येक ब्राह्मण को मुट्ठी भर रत्न और स्वर्ण दिया।
He respectfully circumambulated the sage and bid him farewell. When the sage Yagyavalkya left, King Janaka, the son of Devarat, who knew salvation, sat there and touched one crore cows and donated them to the Brahmins and gave each Brahmin an handful of gems and gold.
