शब्द (भौतिक) ज्ञान से प्रकृति का वर्णन किया गया है और शुद्धात्मा को जानने योग्य बताया गया है। इसी प्रकार अज्ञानमयी प्रकृति है और उससे भिन्न शुद्ध पुरुष को 'ज्ञाता' कहा गया है।॥40॥
Nature has been described by the word (physical) knowledge and the pure soul has been described as the knowable. Similarly, there is ignorant nature and the pure person different from it has been described as the 'knower'.॥ 40॥
