हे मनुष्यों! जैसे आज आपने मुझसे सनातन ब्रह्म का ज्ञान प्राप्त किया है, वैसे ही मैंने भी हिरण्यगर्भ नाम से प्रसिद्ध सनातन, उग्रचित्त ब्रह्मा को प्रसन्न करने के लिए बहुत प्रयत्न करके उनके मुख से इसे प्राप्त किया था॥40॥
O lord of men! Just as you have today acquired the knowledge of the eternal Brahma from me, similarly I too had obtained this from the mouth of the eternal, fierce-minded Brahma, known by the name of Hiranyagarbha, after trying very hard to please him. ॥ 40॥
