वास्तव में प्रकृति के संसर्ग से भ्रष्ट हुआ यह जीवात्मा ज्ञान से युक्त होने पर भी परमात्मा को नहीं जान पाता, गुणों को धारण करता है, इसलिए अपने कर्मों पर अभिमान करके सृष्टि और संहार करता है॥ 2॥
In reality, even after being endowed with knowledge, the soul which has become corrupted due to the contact of nature is not able to know the Supreme Being. It bears the qualities; hence, taking pride in its actions, it creates and destroys.॥ 2॥
