राजन! चन्द्रमा की पंद्रह कलाओं के समान जीवों की पंद्रह कलाएँ उत्पत्ति के स्थान हैं। अज्ञानी जीव उन्हीं को अपना आश्रय मानता है; किन्तु आपको उसकी सोलहवीं कला को सनातन समझना चाहिए। वह चन्द्रमा की सोलहवीं कला के समान है, जिसे अमा कहते हैं। ॥4॥
King! Like the fifteen phases of the moon, the fifteen phases of the living beings are the places of origin. The ignorant living being considers them as his refuge; but you should consider its sixteenth phase as eternal. It is like the sixteenth phase of the moon called Ama. ॥ 4॥
