शिश्नोदरे ये निरता: सदैव
स्तेना नरा वाक्परुषाश्च नित्यम्।
अपेतदोषानपि तान् विदित्वा
दूराद् देवा: सम्परिवर्जयन्ति॥ ३६॥ |

| अनुवाद |
| परंतु जो लोग सदैव वर्तमान इन्द्रियों के भोगों का भोग करने और पालन करने में लगे रहते हैं तथा जो चोरी करते हैं और सदैव कठोर वचन बोलते हैं, वे यदि तप आदि के द्वारा उक्त कर्मों के दोष से मुक्त भी हो जाएँ, तो भी देवता उन्हें पहचानकर दूर से ही त्याग देते हैं ॥36॥ |

| But those who are always engaged in feeding and enjoying the pleasures of the present senses and those who steal and always speak harsh words, even if they are freed from the guilt of the said deeds through penance etc., the gods recognize them and abandon them from a distance. 36॥ |
