न मानुषं विषयं यान्ति द्रष्टुम्।

| देवता सदैव सत्पुरुषों के साथ रहते हैं और उनसे वार्तालाप करते हैं; इसीलिए वे मनुष्यों के क्षणिक सुखों की ओर देखते भी नहीं। जो मनुष्य नाना प्रकार के पदार्थों के नाशवान स्वभाव को भली-भाँति जानता है, उसकी तुलना न तो चन्द्रमा से की जा सकती है और न वायु से। |
