यदेतज्जायतेऽपत्यं स एवायमिति श्रुति:।
कथं ब्राह्मणतो जातो विशेषग्रहणं गत:॥ २॥
अनुवाद
श्रुति कहती है कि जिससे बालक उत्पन्न होता है, वह उसी रूप का माना जाता है अर्थात् जो पिता बालक को जन्म देता है, वही बालक के रूप में नया जन्म लेता है। ऐसी स्थिति में ब्रह्माजी से उत्पन्न ब्राह्मणों से ही आदि में सब उत्पन्न हुए, फिर उन्हें क्षत्रिय आदि विशेष नाम कैसे मिले?॥2॥
Shruti says that the one from whom the child is born is considered to be of the same form i.e. the father who gives birth to the child takes a new birth in the form of the child. In such a situation, everyone was born from the Brahmins born from Brahmaji in the beginning, then how did they get special names like Kshatriya etc.?॥ 2॥
