The physical body, senses etc. are all perishable and the coming and going of beings - birth and death - keep happening again and again. After seeing and thinking about all this, the one who has become disinterested and equal in everything, who lives on cooked (bread, rice etc.) and raw (fruits, roots etc.), who has become calm for the attainment of the Self and who is a moderate eater and has controlled the senses, only he is truly worthy of being called a Sanyasi.
