नौर्नावीव निबद्धा हि स्रोतसा सनिबन्धना।
ह्रियमाणा कथं विप्र कुबुद्धींस्तारयिष्यति।
एतद् ब्रवीतु भगवानुपपन्नोऽस्म्यधीहि भो:॥ ४५॥
अनुवाद
जैसे एक स्थान पर जाने वाली नाव यदि किसी दूसरी नाव से बंध जाए, तो वह अपने जलस्रोत से अलग हो जाती है और किसी को भी गंतव्य तक नहीं ले जा सकती। उसी प्रकार पूर्वजन्म के कर्मों की कामना से बंधी हुई हमारी कर्मरूपी नाव हम दुष्ट बुद्धि मनुष्यों को इस भवसागर से कैसे पार लगाएगी? हे प्रभु, कृपया मुझे यह बताइए। मैं आपकी शरण में आया हूँ। कृपया मुझे उपदेश दीजिए।॥45॥
Just as if a boat going to one place is tied to another boat, then it is separated from its source of water and cannot take anyone to the destination. In the same way, how will our boat of karma, tied with the desire of the deeds of the previous birth, help us, the people of evil intellect, cross this ocean of existence? O Lord, please tell me this. I have come to your refuge. Please give me advice. ॥ 45॥
