राजानो लोकयात्रार्थं तप्यन्ते परमं तप:।
तेऽपत्रपन्ति तादृग्भ्यस्तथावृत्ता भवन्ति च॥ २४॥ |

| अनेक राजा प्रजा का जीवन सुचारु रूप से चलाने के लिए कठोर तप करते हैं। ये राजा अपने राज्य में चोरों और लुटेरों के अस्तित्व से लज्जित होते हैं। अतः वे अपनी प्रजा को पवित्र, सदाचारी और सुखी बनाने की इच्छा से ऐसे तप करते हैं।॥24॥ |
