भयंकर शब्द करने वाला महान, शक्तिशाली और भयानक प्राणवायु ही समस्त प्राणियों का प्राण रूप है। प्राणियों के शरीर नष्ट हो जाने पर वे नाना प्रकार की योनियों या शरीरों को प्राप्त होते हैं। अतः इस शरीर के भीतर देवाधिदेव वायु (प्राण) ही सर्वश्रेष्ठ है। 40॥
The great, powerful and terrifying Praanavayu, who utters terrible words, is the life form of all living beings. After the destruction of the body of the living beings, they attain different types of forms or bodies. Therefore, within this body, Devadhideva Vayu (Pran) is the best. 40॥
