समस्त इन्द्रियों में से जब बुद्धि किसी इन्द्रिय के साथ जुड़ जाती है, चाहे वह पहले अलग न हुई हो, तो वह बुद्धि इच्छारूप मन में तथा विषय आदि में स्थित रहती है, अर्थात् बुद्धि द्वारा कृतकृत्य होने पर ही कोई भी इन्द्रिय इच्छा के कारण धीरे-धीरे घटने-बढ़ने को ग्रहण करती है। 10॥
Out of all the senses, when the intellect joins with any of the senses, even if it was not separated earlier, that intellect is present in the volitional mind and in the objects etc., that is, only after being blessed by the intellect, any sense organ gradually accepts the decreases and decreases due to the will. 10॥
