विद्यामयोऽन्य: पुरुषस्तात कर्ममयोऽपर:।
विद्धि चन्द्रमसं दर्शे सूक्ष्मया कलया स्थितम्॥ १५॥ |

| पिताजी! ज्ञानी पुरुष की बात ही कुछ और है, कर्मनिष्ठ पुरुष उससे सर्वथा भिन्न है। जैसे चन्द्रमा क्षीण होता रहता है और अमावस्या के दिन उसकी एक छोटी सी कला मात्र रह जाती है, वैसे ही कर्मनिष्ठ पुरुष की भी यही स्थिति समझिए - उसे घटने-बढ़ने के चक्र में ही रहना पड़ता है।॥ 15॥ |

| ‘Father! A wise man is something else, a man devoted to karma is completely different from him. Just as the moon keeps waning and remains only as a tiny phase on the new moon day, you should understand the same condition of a man devoted to karma – he has to remain in the cycle of decrease and increase.॥ 15॥ |
