विपरीतमतो यत् तु तदव्यक्तमुदाहृतम्।
द्वावात्मानौ च वेदेषु सिद्धान्तेष्वप्युदाहृतौ॥ ३१॥
अनुवाद
जो तत्त्व इससे विपरीत है, अर्थात् जिसमें जन्म आदि चार विकार नहीं हैं, उसे अव्यक्त कहते हैं। वेदों और सिद्धान्त प्रतिपादक शास्त्रों में उस अव्यक्त के दो प्रकार बताए गए हैं - जीवात्मा और परमात्मा॥31॥
The element which is the opposite of this, that is, which does not have the four transformations like birth, is called the unmanifested. In the Vedas and the scriptures that propound principles, two types of that unmanifested have been described - the living soul and the Supreme Soul.॥ 31॥
