अरति: क्रोधचापल्ये भयं नैतानि नारदे।
अदीर्घसूत्र: शूरश्च तस्मात् सर्वत्र पूजित:॥ ६॥ |

| नारद जी में द्वेष, क्रोध, चंचलता और भय आदि दोष नहीं हैं। वे मंदबुद्धि (किसी कार्य को करने में विलम्ब करने वाले या आलसी) नहीं हैं तथा वे पुण्य और दया आदि कर्म करने में बड़े पराक्रमी हैं; इसीलिए उनका सर्वत्र सम्मान होता है॥6॥ |

| Narada ji does not have the defects of dislike, anger, fickleness and fear. He is not a slow-witted person (one who delays in doing any work or is lazy) and he is very valiant in doing good deeds and mercy etc.; that is why he is respected everywhere. ॥ 6॥ |
