एवं हि तपसा युक्तमर्कवत् तमस: परम्।
त्रैलोक्यप्रकृतिर्देही तमसोऽन्ते महेश्वर:॥ १६॥
अनुवाद
इस प्रकार तप से युक्त मन अज्ञानरूपी अंधकार से ऊपर उठकर सूर्य के समान ज्ञानरूपी प्रकाश से प्रकाशित होने लगता है। जीवात्मा ब्रह्म है जो तीनों लोकों का कारण है। अज्ञान का त्याग करके वह महेश्वर (शुद्ध परमेश्वर) रूप में स्थित हो जाता है। 16॥
In this way, the mind imbued with penance rises above the darkness of ignorance and starts getting illuminated with the light of knowledge like the sun. The living soul is Brahma who is the cause of all the three worlds. After renouncing ignorance, he is established as Maheshwar (pure God). 16॥
