भीष्म कहते हैं - राजन! जैसे कर्म में तत्पर रहने वाले पुरुष संसार के धर्म की प्राप्ति को पसंद करते हैं, वैसे ही ज्ञान में तत्पर रहने वाले पुरुष ज्ञान के अतिरिक्त अन्य किसी वस्तु को पसंद नहीं करते॥1॥
Bhishma says - King! Just as those who are devoted to action like the attainment of the Dharma of the world, similarly those who are devoted to knowledge like nothing else except knowledge.॥ 1॥
